ebay short shift

ebay short shift

ive been debating getting one for a while, but i havent found any one who actually had one, so my question is has anyone gotten an ebay short shifter? and if so is it a good buy? or should i just spend the extra money and get a good one? thank you

B&M, TWM and some other manufacturers make short shifters for the Lancer. They are actually made for the Evo VIII, but the Evo and Lancer use the same identical shifter. Just FYI.

but those are all over a 100, ebays are like 30, im a cheap kid haha

A short shifter is a piece of metal that (in a lancer anyway) probably won't be under too much stress. I don't think there would be anything wrong with saving some money and going with an eBay short shifter.

If you're buying a short shifter, seriously consider buying stiffer bushings on the plastic assembly and underneath the hood. They'll really tighten up your throws

I've had my 30$ ebay short shifter for many many years and yeah... it still works.
What more is there to say?

Ebay ss ftw! Not sure about the lancer shifter but if its the same as the evo id recommend getting a new retainer.. Makes life easyyy

ok, well i think you guys convinced me to get one next paycheck haha, is it a simple do it yourself install or should i have someone experienced do it?
