I have the ACT HDSS for one year now, stock feel, no problems. you don't want a very agressive clutch for DD the XT will have a harder pedal feel and you might regret it in the long run.

The ACT XT pressure plate is a very heavy plate for a daily driver. I went from an ACT HDSS to an ACT XT w/ sprung 6-puck. The driveability of the ACT HDSS was perfect for a daily driver and I enjoyed it every second. If the 225 ft/lbs holding capacity is too low for what you want to do you might want to look at getting the ACT HD w/ sprung 6-puck before switching to the XT pressure plate. It will hold 288 ft/lbs, which you won't see unless you build your motor.

Unless your engine is going to producing more than 300whp, there's no reason to opt for the XT pressure plate. It is difficult to drive comfortably as a daily driver, but will hold the power for higher HP Lancers that need it. Just a heads up.

What does any one know about the stage 2 clutch kit from Works? I am thinking about upgrading to that when I install my turbo kit in a few weeks?

I would go with the ACT XTSS.

IMO, it's a perfect clutch for daily driving, putting good power/torque down, and ready for track.

I decided to go with the Works stage 2 clutch kit and a RRM flywheel. I think it should be a decent combination for daily use and weekend rally fun. I will let everyone know how this setup works.
