Ok i know this has prob been asked thousands of times.... Swapping out my auto tranny for Evo 8 Manual tranny, doable?

 

I think that would only work if you did a engine swap to an evo 8 engine... A 5-speed swap from another base lancer 02-03 will work for sure. And there is a member who did the 04 tranny which has an external slave cylinder. I could be totally wrong though.

but if you did a swap from another lancer then it will work, but it would be a lot of work. need to source parts and ecu and cables and such. prolly easier to just get a 5speed car...

 

Well i already have the tranny lol just dont have time, i have the engine too but i was just feeling lazy... im doing the swap nxt year when i get back from deployment

 

i have a question. lancer trany 04-06 will fit 03 lancer ES?

 

yes as long as it has the 4g94 engine in it. i have an 04 oz rally trans in my 03 oz rally. it all mounts the same.
