ASC maintence/check engine/irratic idle
I went out to my car this morning and the ASC maintenance light is on (so the car seems to think its slipping all the time) I tried to shut the ASC off so I could get to work but no luck. the check engine light is on and the car is idling erratically and won't go over 15mph. I have a 2010 lancer sportback GTS with 19000 miles.
the car is under warranty so I will have to have it towed to mitsu but I was wondering what the problem Could be. I'm pretty pissed off since I will have to miss a day of work for this

The cars at Mitsubishi the check engine light is still on but the asc maintenance light is off and now its running fine. They don't seem to know what the problem was and I could be stuck sitting in the waiting area all day.

after sitting in the dealer**** for around 2.5 hours they finally came out and told me that they reset the CEL here is a list of the codes (P1241, U1417, C1210, C0630, C1941, C1931, C1921, C1911) the service manager told me that this was caused by my RRM SRI and axle-back exhaust and that because of that it would not be covered under warranty and it would cost me $80.00 because "his mechanic had an hour into the vehicle"
I lost it and flipped out and the guy decided to "wave the charge just this one time" and send me on my way.
my question to you guys is would having the RRM SRI and axle-back void my warranty for something like this and if you could please break down what those codes are/mean I would greatly appreciate it

Dont listen to them. I will not void your warranty unless they can prove that that mod caused the problem. In theory, if the dealership did that to you, you could sue the dealership directly. I know of 2 people have have done so directly resulting in a settlement.
Its alot of chest beating. Because they are trained to stir you in the direction of OEM parts.
