awd lancer

im pretty close to installing my turbo , after that i'll reinforce my engine with some arp head studs and try to go awd , i know that would be a crazy drive but im in for the road. Can anybody tell me exactly what parts do i need , i know for a fact i ll need either an evo x or outlander (loosing the clutch is out of the question for me , thats why ra tranny is a no go), is it true that either trany will bolt on without a prob , any good suggeestions are apreciated

you need a ralliart rear end (rear diff axles ect...) ralliart driveshaft, evo x manual trans, evo x front axles, hubs and brakes. probably some new electronics...

nobody has done this yet, probably because parts alone will cost around $7000 maybe more..
so nobody can tell you exactly what parts you need. The general rule of thumb I go by is if you have to ask, you are probably getting in over your head.

the rear end does not bolt in, you'll have to sleeve the chassis so the bolts dont rip right through the sheet metal.

My recommendation is forget this idea.. It is much harder then bolting on a turbo kit! a waste of money and be prepared for long downtime.. a project like this doesn't happen over a weekend.

it would probably be easier finding the AWD platform from a wrecked outlander since the lancer and outlander are the exact same platform. you could find a wrecked one and strip it down for its parts and try to get it cheap. just getting all the electrical right and what not and ecu issues would be the problem.

but it can be done.
