Cracked transmission cooler (CVT)

I hit something and cracked the cooler. Long story short...
Started the car, backed out of driveway, the cooler dragged and broke and pissed out all the CVT fluid, i immediately pulled in the drive way and turned off the car, and fixed my problem.
My question is, would literally 10 seconds being low on fluid damage the transmission in any way?

You didn't pull the magnetic drain plug when you refilled the trans? That would be you way to tell weather it was damaged. It if had lots of medium to large metal shavings, that would be bad. A small amount of very fine shavings is normal.
