you are going to go through quite a bit of hassle doing this swap....... are you looking for a rebuilt or what?

you are going to have to find a tranny, than swap the bellhousings.... or just find the 06 trans, and make sure to but the new boot, new slave, new arm, new pivot, and new throwout bearing. you will also need to rebend, or go to a softline for the connection to the slave....

Is it possible to take a f5m42 from a eclipse or something and split it and take the guts like the gears the shift forks and all that and transfer it over into mine

Im not sure about the lancer oz slave. I did use lancer internals one time when I broke my trans. The insides are all the same. All the eclipse f5m42 are the external slave design 00-12.

I am very familiar with the internal slave on the 03

it is not the same as the external slave setup, and the external slave can not be made to work on the 03 bellhousing

I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer o-z rally 5-speed with a 4g94 motor. I am interested in doing a swap like a 4g64 or a 4G63 what all options do I have and what is the best and cheapest way to do it?

I have a 2002 lancer oz rally. Its been a good car but I want just a bit more out of it. And I was wondering if either a 4g63 or a 4g64 will bolt to the trans out of a 4g94 (f5m42). I know they share similar block but dont know what the differences are.
