Lancer DE transmission whining

Hi, my 2011 lancer de whines when I speed up past 20, when I go fast is has a horrendous scream and it feels like loss of power over time, it tends to start after 20 mins or depends how fast I’m wanting to go also smells like tranny fluid and a small leak here and there. Pls help thank you

mine was doing the same thing and transmission stopped working on longer drives (30 min +). i guess it was overheating bc if i let it sit it would work again. just ended up selling the car as is.

i had a 2012 Lancer ES and was having the same issue, i would drive for a bit but if i come to a complete stop it would not move at all like the transmission wasnt engaging... after ALOT of trial and error i came to find out that the transmission valve body was stuck, changed it and it worked like a charm!... i finally traded it in after 280k miles, i have a spare AC comprrssor, valve body, 3 fuel injectors, air filter and cabin filter available for free, trying to get rid of it
