I drive a 2012 lancer GT and for about roughly 10 months or so my engine light goes on and off because of the p420 but as of recently during the summer the light hasn't come on much asides from somewhat cooler nights and then it'll go away when it heat backs up. I've been trying to figure out whether its actually my catalytic converter that's doing that or my 02 sensors, I'm not one to care to about passing inspection but just seeing the engine light is annoying. Any tips on fixing it?

 

Do you want a solution like actually fixing it, or just a solution to being annoyed by it? Because you can just pull the bulb out if that's all you care about.

EDIT: noticed its a 2012....not sure if those use bulbs or if its part of the info screen......anyway you can use an anti-fowler on the 02 sensor as another hack to stop it from bothering you.

 

I mean actually fixing it would be dope, but what is an anti fowler?
