Loss of power :(

Hey guys, I've had my OZ for about a year and a half now and i've got 30,000 miles on it (that's what a handful of roadtrips and countless runs to mexico and vegas will do to ya). My problem is this, shifting from high rpms in 1st to 2nd used to have some power, now it feels like i'm going from 1st to 4th! There's no continuation in pull, it just seems to lag and I feel a loss even in the power in 1st. Any ideas? My only theory is that this could be clutch related, but I don't know.

Thanks,
Nate

have you done regular maintenance? oil changes, air filter, etc? try resetting the ECU, see if that does anything

btw, 30K in 18 months ain't too bad, I'm at 59K in 18 months w/ mine

Yea, I have been maintaining the car...I know the thing isn't gonna perform like an evo or anything, but it's so gutless now even compared to what she was a few months ago. When i ease off the clutch, like at a drive through i hear a kind of metal scraping sound...does that help with any diagnosis?

thanks,
nate
