So last friday my Oil light came on so I obviously changed my oil. I usually change my filter every second oil change so my filter stayed and brand new Royal Purple went in. My Oil light still comes on when I'm stopped and idling. The light goes away as soon as I start reving. Just like if the oil pressure wasn't high enough at idle... Could it be my filter clogging the lines at idle? Could it be something else? Unfortunatly... no OilPressure Gauge yet so I can't really confirm my theory.

 

PCV valve could be gummed up and sticking shut at idle...check that out. they are only like $3 and considered part of your tune up anyways.

 

^if you take off the PCV, shake it...if there is NO rattling than it is bad..if it rattles you're in good shape.

 

will check that and where is it located on my 4g94?
