It sounded more like a metal to metal rattle, or ringing noise, and it did it while accelerating. I first thought it was my torque converter. I was told by the dealership and the muffler place that fixed it that it is a common problem. If you have a floor jack its easy to jack it up and look (use jack stands if you are under vehicle).
