Wow, I haven't logged in here in forever!!! geez I miss it here. Anyways, this engine light has been on for a while now, and I just took it in and it read off the code P0421, I'm not quite sure where the bank 1 one is, but it says its Warm Up Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1). Question is, I've been told that the O2 sensor is out on the cat convertor, now, my question is where is it? I have a universial sensor that they say should splice into the old one.
So where do I start?

Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the o2 sensor in the cat.
Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the o2 sensor in the exhaust manifold.

they'll have what you need. you can buy the sensor for like $150 with the vehicle specific connector on it so there is no splicing and you need not go to a shop. look under the car, the sensor is on the cat.

EDIT: use this link--> http://www.automedicsupply.com/catal...engine=L4-2.0L
it's the Downstream o2 Sensor. Costs $92.50 + shipping and handling charges. Direct fit. Part number is: 250-24227
