Lighting issue...

My gauge bezzle and HVAC dont light up...?

The Dome light works, Fuses are in tact, the Warning Lights (Gas, Seatbelt, etc.) &
both Blinkers, and all that, DO work.
The Tach and the Volt Meter also DO work.

Only the HVAC and Gauges arent lighting up, and the bulbs are fine... Wth?

...& no it aint the dimmer switch

Any help?

Does the dimmer work at all? either way you might have a dead spot on the variable resistor inside the dimmer.

I use to have a faulty dimmer once on a Plymouth laser, the problem was similar, it wouldn't lit up because it had a dead spot.

What you can do you can bypass the dimmer and have it run directly from the switch poles that way it will work all the time. That would also let you know is the dimmer is bad or not.

Nah, the dimmer has never worked since the car was new and some @ssh0le mal-installed the headunit and caused the dimmer to die, along with the rear right tail light. I had to run a new wire from the working taillight to the that one, in order to fix the issue.

Anyway... no, the dimmer doesnt work.
