Feels like rotors are warped.
I have almost 16,000 miles on my Lancer and when you hit the brakes I feel a slight vibration. I am thinking the rotors are warped. Feels really weird to have the vibration go thru the break pedal.
guys just to be informative and try to resolve your issues, im selling powerslot rotors for $80 each plus shipping. they fit the oz/ls lancer and are 10.2" like stock just waaay better. check it out !

Warped Rotors - One Cause
I see that in most instances here, we are dealing with OZ's. One critical maintenance issue, often overlooked, is the proper torquing of the cast wheels. Aluminum, while lighter, is stiffer than a steel wheel and less forgiving. You get some tire jockey running those lug nuts up tight with his airgun set at 150 lb-ft and you can warp the rotors. Check your owners manual for the proper torque spec - usually between 80 and 100 lb-ft. Find a shop that is willing to take the time to use a torque wrench and do it properly. Hope this helps.

did you check the air in the tires too? You can make your rotors last long if you wash your car when the car/brakes are cold. My pops said washing the car hot makes the rotors warp faster. Sometimes new rotors (regular ones i.e. OEM) cost the same as taking them to a machine shop.
