i hear something but the egine doesnt fire...doesnt even sound liek anything is sparking or tyrin to get started...just this whinin noise...somebody mentenioned a starter soelenoid

 

well my friend said its deffinatley not the alarm...i guess its getting towed to the mechanic on monday....so much for that bonus...argh

 

It could be your ignition mine did that when I had a buddy put in the alarm. Didn't know what it was so I replaced the alarm and wasn't just that it had screwed something up with the ignition wiring on the steering column and was no longer sending the power to the ignition soleniod. If you not experienced in car electrical just take it to the mechanic, and since this started after you put the alarm in it is most likely your alarm that caused the problem.
