ALright guys, my Lancer is an automatic, and this is probably the biggest NON-performance question, but, my cruise control is not working, anyone have any idea why, and what I could do to fix it, that does not include takin it to dealership, lol.

 

First thing I would check is the fuse, it might also be in your switch.

 

Where would I find this fuse? I just got pulled over and have to pay for my ticket, an dI just don't feel like gettin no more tickets.

 

Fuses, vacuum hoses to the module (btw, it's on top of the TB on the mani), electrical (bad switches on the wheel)...

 

Any reason you wouldn't take it to the dealership? Do you have a warranty?

Some auto parts shops are friendly and check stuff like this for you. You could ask your local place...

 

Yeah, i never bought my car with a warranty, it was used, and I JUST got it, the sucker had 74k miles on it, and it was not taken care of, I wanted to reawaken the potential that it has, so.....ya know

 

Well if you just got it I would complain and get it fixed for free regardless if you had a warranty or not. Now if you had it for a few months then it might depend on how good a warranty you purchased.
