Knocking at right front wheel
Hey just wanted to get some insight...ive got a new knock that occurs at the right front wheel when turning hard to the left, and occasionally when hitting bumps in the road...my initial thought was ball joint, but just wanted opinions on what it might be. Sounds like 300 bucks to me personally...

So, it's more a clinking sound then knocking? Then it's probably a CV joint; especially if it's noticeable during cornering (and it doesn't even have to be a high-speed corner).

yeh. sounds like a cv joint to me. If the boot has a small hole in it somewhere dirt will get in, grease will go out and the bearings inside will get worn out and will make noise. I pinched my passenger side boot putting my coilovers in. not making noise yet. A new boot from mitsu is about $56 just for the boot. I didnt even ask what a whole assembly would be. I checked every VIp, advanced auto and napa in my area and no one can get me anything... Ill have to get dealer boot and install it myself. If its making a lot of noise the joint is probably ruined and you will have to replace the joint and boot. possibly shaft. i dunno.

When the dealer installed my Transfer Case, they ripped the boot and now my car does exactly what you are doing. Luckly they are replacing it, part should be here soon. Good Luck.
