Door rattle when listening to music

My driver side door has a very annoying rattle right next to my left arm. It sounds as if something inside the door panel is vibrating from bass (Wiring harness clip, or door panel clip?). I do not listen to my music extremely loud, and this rattle will happen when my stereo is on level 25. I usually listen to my music around level 30. This is the standard 4 speaker system.

If anyone else has any interior panel rattles, please post up! I'm thinking about taking my car to the dealer, but I have a good feeling that it will result in a waste of time. I've tryed pushing on the door panel in multiple areas with my hand to see if the rattle would go away, but no luck.

that is my exact complaint, its so faint that you usually dont notice it, but once you do, the remainder of the time in the car on that trip is torture... unfortunately i think it is just the belt tensioner in the pillar and it is something we will have to live with... but i could be wrong, and if it gets worse, i plan on bringing it to my service dept and having them look at it... i sell these things, so maybe they will take my word for it and actually check it out

+1 on the rattle, but every car on the planet has a few little annoying rattles if you listen close enough, even $500k Ferrari's, lol

We'll probably have to just live with this one...

You may be having the rattling because of the windows. I have the six speaker system and when I have just the two FRONT rolled down, there is an annoying rattle/vibration. When I rolled down the rest of the windows the sound went away. Just give it a try and see if it helps.
Also mine DOESNT make any sound if I have all of the windows rolled up.

I get my rattle when all the windows are up. If I roll the two front windows down, the outside noise will drown out the rattle.

Maybe I am just expecting perfection from my new, base model Lancer....lol.

i have no rattles even with bass or my bass is so loud i dont hear it lol. dont hear anything when no music though either. i did cut the lower rubber strips away from the window they were very hard and looked like they would make a rattling noise. maybee add a dynamat door kit to stop vibrations?

i have tried the window thing, applied pressure to glass when windows up, applied pressure to door panels, pillar, head liner everything and no change thats what leads me to believe its the seat belt tensioner... i dont think its something dynamat can solve in my car at least...

Ahh rattles. Seems the 08 Lancers "inherited" this from the older ones. I know in my ralliart both the front doors rattle. I fixed one rattle, which was from the cover for the window switches. There is still a rattle on the passenger side I haven't tended to yet. I suggest just looking around and trying to pinpoint where it's from. Instead of "front door", you could say something more specific. That's unless it's inside the door, which it could be from your description.
