i doubt they are geared differently, but the hill variable and such does make sense. i drive all flat though, there aren't really any inclines or declines. minus offramps, that is.

Wow that's bad gas mileage. I was getting 28 MPG with my lancer and it was pretty damn modified. You're getting the same mileage as my WRX at the moment.

How many miles do you have? Timing could be messed up. Try a fuel system cleaner, air filter could be causing restriction.
And dont forget to disengage the parking brake.

It can be checked with a timing light. But it might be a better idea to run it in to a shop. They might be able to find another problem.
On aside note PCV could cause a drop in mileage.= change valve.
Sticky piston rings could cause a loss in compression.= Use engine flush.

By lines up do you mean the timing? If the car sounds and runs smooth that is probally not the issue.
I think PCV, Air filter and fuel system cleaner are a starting point. If you purchased the car from new and this is the way it has been the whole time I dont see any changes in sight. If you got this used then it probally only needs a tune up.

ive had it since 70k , already did iridium plugs, spark plug wires, coils, short ram intake and i already used sea foam, but wat i was thinking is that i need a tranny flush.Becuz it delays shifts and shifting is getting rougher

Could try sea foaming the engine and seeing if that helps.
