Dont know if its just mine but i have an 08 ES with sun & sound. My question is, the display on the radio is very dim during the daytime, i can just barly see it, is anyone else having this issue?

 

If the sunroof is open, that's your problem. If any sunlight (or maybe just light in general) gets onto the display, you can't read it for crap. It's a design flaw.

 

Do you run your headligts (not DRL) during the day? That dims them, but the big problem is sunlight. Definetly a design flaw...

Yeah, it's a common problem. No known fix, unfortunately.

 

I turned the headlights off during the day and yes it does get a little brighter, I guess I will just have to get my windows tinted dark

speaking of that, will i need to get the moleskin for my windows, its not a GTS but an ES?
