Is it a PZEV
Yeah, I still love the lancer and I am enjoying it, its just I had to deal with so much with the dealer. First they couldnt get the car, then they found one and I waited for a while, then had to travel back to NY to buy it in which case there were minor surface flaws, messed up pin stripes, adhesive on the weather stripping etc. They said they would detail it (which they are doing as I am writing this) which means another trip back to NY. On top of that, the financial people told me 3 year 3.9% financing which then became 5.9% because I did not have an extensive credit history (i use cash hehe). Then I got the vehicle window etching and they tried to get me to sign a piece of paper that said that I dont want the etching coverage, even though i payed to get it done. They didnt record anything, all the paperwork was shady and I read over everything twice and found mistakes. And they have yet to get me the window sticker (illegal). All and all it was a horrible experience and now I find out my car has the pull to the left and is a PZEV.
I know 9 hp isnt anything, its just annoying knowing that I could have had the federal emissions. I dont plan on racing my car or modding it (besides a SRI, maybe), so the 9hp doesnt make much of a difference. It just seems like the sh1tshow is never ending, just another screwball after another.
Anyways, thanks everyone again - hopefully I will get over it and just enjoy my car. WHat would u guys do in my situation? Make a stink and try to get a new car (not likely) or just take it as is and know that I still have a nice new car? ALso, is there really anything I can do?
