maintaining CAI in wisconsin winter

i read on a different forum that CAI are not the best in snow. is there anything i should do to keep it clear? take the filter of and clean it once in a while? air is plenty cold enough.

don't get any snow on it, pretty simple, also must take the car a little longer to warm up.

i wouldn't drive with it on with snow, i live in NE so we get snow to, i would put the stock one back on or use half pipe to make a SRI

i didnt put it on, i bought the car with a few mods, i believe its injen intake, where can i get a stock intake or can i make one?

i would just tkae half the pipe off and make it an SRI..instead of removing everything as long as its up in the engine bay it will be fine in wisconsin weather..
