Problem with steering wheel vibration!!

Any help would be appreciated...
I have a 02 oz rally and when i get on the freeway the steering wheel shakes alot it gets annoying... a couple weeks ago it was doing the same problem just on regular streets, i was going slow too i even threw it in neutral and it was still doing it, i had no idea what it was but i filled my tires with air because they were really low and the regular street problem was gone but the freeway problem is still there... so im just hoping if someone knows what might be wrong with it..

Thanks!!

Start with a balance and alignment check. Also make sure all 4 wheels are torqued to spec.

Yeah, start by getting them balanced. If it continues, check for broken end links, ripped/torn CV boots, and other broken susp. components under there.

i had that problem. But its due to alightment of your wheels. My stock oz wheels(my winter wheels) were running fine untill I hit a rock on the freeway and my tires bout to blow cuz it had a big mosquito bite lookin bulge on the driver side tire. So i bought some tires from some shop and they didnt balance my wheels, ever since that day my steering wheel shakes, but its not noticeable on regular streets.

Geet brakes/rotors checked, you probably need an alignment for sure

I had the same problem with my lancer... especially at high speeds. I went to the dealership and they told me to first have your tires rotated. If that doesn't fix it, get them realigned. If you're still feeling a lot of vibration on the steering wheel, I was told that it could be a front end prob, but lancer's aren't known for part failures with those. The alignment will cost a bit, but should fix your prob.

wow dude i have the same exact problem.. my tires are worn out i really dont want to spend money on getting them balanced/rotated of aligned because i want to be getting rims very soon. I think it would just be a waste of money.

does anyone know roughly what the price would be to get tires balanced and alinged?

I've seen alignment coupons come in the mail lately offering $59/69 specials.
