Question Shaking on takeoff in 1st...

Hia all,
So this has been happening for a while now. I have tried to narrow it down myself, but it has come to asking around, "Yes, I am a man." LOL

I have a 03 OZ 5 speed, and this mainly happens first thing in the morning. I live in SoCal so its not tthat cold ihn the morning, but when I first crank it up, even if I let it warm up a lil it will jerk franticly on takeoff, and only in first gear, once in second it doesnt. Once i get to the stropsign at the end of the street, it happens again, usually a few more stop signs till i get to the highway.
But now this is the kicker. Some people were telling me that my car was just cold natured and to let it warm-up a little more B4 taking off. But it finally happened for the first time on the way home last night when i was almost home. I was at regular opperating temp after about 20 mi. of driving.
Is it possible that the trany fluid/filter needs to be changed? I bought this car with 52,000 miles on it and have cleaned the IAC and throttle body very well just to clean up the idle and for better response, but since what happed last night I'm starting to think the tranny fluid and filter have possibly not been changed.

Gimme all you got guys. I just got my magnaflow exaust put on, so im all exited, but this is drivin me nutz.
Let me know if I need to elaberate more.
Thank You all,
Ryan

The thing with buying used cars is that you'll soon find everything that is "wrong" with it. First thing I did with my recent acquistion of a '95 Civic is replace everything! Fuel filter, plugs, oil, trans fluid, etc etc...if you haven't already, do a good tune-up on it. Definitely check the trans fluid level, auto right?

Good luck!

LOL, cant beat the personalities on this site with a stick...LOL

But yes, I have done plugz oil etc, but have not done the wires and tranny fluid. I wouldn't think that the wires would be the reason, would it? With the given simptoms i wouldnt think so?? thanks for the info, any other suggestions?

I had something similar happen with another car I had and it ended being a bad fuel injector which really sucked because it happened 3 days after I got it and wasn't a cheap fix

So it's 2.3 qts. of 75-90w right? What do yall think about mobil one or royal purple synthetic?
WEird thing is, Mobil one is 10.99 and the Royal Purple is only 8.99. Whats up w/ that? I would figure the Royal Purp. would be more...

And are there anymore ideas on the possible problem.

sounds like the clutch, try getting it warm once of twice to clean it off.
