Engine bay noise
if I am not mistaken, the ticking noise you hear constantly is the lifters?
The timing chain has tension on it and therfore should not make that amount of noise, if it does then you are in for some trouble. A chain is a little more noisy than a belt but not as noisy as the constant ticking you hear.

I generally know a lot about engines but not everything. This may be a noob question...but I know the new 4B11 cams act directly on the valves/valve tappets, so does this mean there are still valve lifters? I am voting no, but I could be 100% wrong. So could the clicking just be the valve lifters or the cams directly on the valve tappets in either case?
Good video on 4B11 if anyone has missed it before: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Bb4zdcD0G-Y
I agree, I hear the constant ticking to and I was pretty sure it was just lifters too.

yes you know I think you are right! I never thought of it but yeah I will have to look at the video on youtube about the engine but I might be over my head ( i do 16L diesel engine rebuilds, not automotive :P) But I dont know if the "tappets" ----> which is the correct term, not lifters, my bad--- are like lifters and filled with oil pressure.
yeah the thing does tick like my old 87 prelude...which was normal and it was OHC. I think its still the same setup somewhat so ticking on all 4 cyls is normal.
But the original poster is questioning about the engine click every so often... I still think it is the a/c clutch. But thats worse than trying to diag. over the phone. So we are all in the same boat, its making a funny noise, take it to the dealer or ask the dealer ect.
