i have a ES CVT and get 19-22 city and 22-27 highway. strange thing is if i get it up to 29 or 30mpg itll stay that way whether i go from city to highway or vice versa. i filled it up today and it said i had 470 miles.

I have an 08 ES 5-speed. I consistently get over 400 miles per tank (and I usually fill up when the alarm goes off) and when I fill it I usually don't have to put in more than 13.5 gal. Last week I went nearly 500 miles on the tank, and I drive on the highway between 65-75 mph..with some city driving mixed in. I ALWAYS use cruise control...even in the city, so that might help out too. So far I've got about 2700 miles on the car.

Wow. almost 500 miles on one tank? I just dont think that is going to happen in my GTS haha...the best tank I've got so far is 360 but I filled up right after the indicator came on...filled up with 13.07 gallons ...and that was a 90% highway tank

Oh well its still 2mpg better than my jetta was getting, but man gas prices suck.....$3.67 a gallon here FOR REGULAR!

Price sucks ? in canada here it's 1.35/liter (about 5.10/gallon) so yeah that sucks.
Seems it's gonna be near 1.70 next year :S

yeah I filled up in seattle the other day...like he said 3.70 a gallon, thats 1$ a liter! CHEAP!!! In canada its brutal, even though we make all the oil in alberta and then sell it to our southern neighbors!.

pfft... you have light traffic... I'm currently working on my most miles for a tank of gas (sitting at ~270 on this tank and will have to refuel this weekend), and have yet to break 300 miles on a tank. So far, my best mileage on a tank has been ~22MPG.

well i commute the opposite way of the busy seattle commute...im sure if i worked IN seattle I would have similar numbers to you..thats gotta blow

i drove 45 miles after the 1st warning and everything was gravy. Yeah so i pumpped 13 gallons and it gave me 450 miles. i drove to the beach and back so it was mostly highway. Not bad though...

well kbb claims that the 08 has 15.3 gal tank
