O2 sensor question

Heya guys. Gotta fix an o2 so I can pass inspection and Im not sure if its before or after cat. Code reads " Bank 1 warm up catalist below threshold" I think its before the cat what it sounds like to me. Also I cant afford a $80 replacement that all the parts shops here sell and I found this online http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...USOS-4000.html

Think thats the right one? Same number of wires and I've got no problem using the old connector. Any help would be nice. Take care guys

I got that code too. A few times.. It goes on and off.
I don't know if that recall applies to me..
here's my vin: JA3AJ86E92U005680

Bought my 02 lancer OZ in september AS IS through the dealership
I did buy 1 year coverage to be on the safe side and It's helped me quite well.

Car started overheating recently..
The thermostat is fine.. Could it be the radiator fan?

Either the fan or you may need to bleed air trapped in your coolant passages.

Start easy, leave the car on let it warm up, does the fan turn on like it should? If not, could be a bad fan motor or relay.. Did you check out the thermostat physically? I.E. putting it in hot water and seeing if it opens? Check coolant level, make sure its full, check the water pump for leakage out of the weep hole

Hey I just read on mitsubishi-forums.com that if your car is over 100k miles they wont fix it per the recall, I would have to pay full price. Anyone know any differant?

One more thing. Could I not just buy the rrm cel eliminator for using headers and that work? If my warm-up cat is bad, and I just found its all one peice with the exhaust mani=lame, Wouldnt using the cel eliminator make it think the warm-up cat is working right?

The only reason I am worrying about it is I have to get my car inspected and it fails if the cel is on.

I tried that but when they hooked my car up to the computer at the inspection place it showed the car computer was not ready and they said I would have to drive about 100 miles for the computer to reset and by then my lights on again.

I just called my local dealer, almost an hour away, and everything is covered to his knowledge. I've had problems with the bank one cel code and am sure the sensors are in good shape, and there should be no exhaust problem. Mine just idles alittle harder than normal lately.
