Best Fog Light Replacement Bulbs?

I see that most people here seem to get the Nokya 2500K Hyper Yellow bulbs for the fogs in our Lancers. Why this color over the others? And also when I look on ebay I see different models of that bulb, H1, 9006, and so on, which is correct for our fog lights? I have Sylvania SilverStar Ultras for my lows and highs and love them.

Thanks in advance for any help.

the yellowish tint in the fogs will provide the greatest visibility in bad weather, i.e. bad snow. I have heard of peoples housing melting with aftermarket bulbs in their fogs, might want to check that out too.

I got a LED replacement for 11 bucks on eBay sure its not as powerful as the more expensive LED replacements. But it works really good, and I like its pure white color.

The correct bulb for the 09 fog lights are H11.

avoid nokya ebay bulbs, there are alot of fakes around. Make sure they are a authorized dealer. or you will be changing your bulbs every 3 months in stead of 2 years.

i have had nokya bulbs that i got off ebay for over a year. they are the legit ones and i have heavy duty harnesses for em too. i have the arctic white ones in my lows, highs and fogs and have had no problems with melting or burning out and they look and work amazing. make sure you get the harnesses though or its a major no no.

How can you tell if they are fakes?

Got them the other day and they look good. No idea how to tell if they are fake but it even had the little brochure thing in it telling about other models..
