i blown the tranny?

hi guys,
yesterday i got my car washed in a car wash station then i was getting out of the car washer..

started the engine, pushed the clutch and put the gear to the rear... suddenly engine stopped. then i restarted it and i heard a continuous clink noise.. when i pushed the clutch again clink noise gone, and get my foot of the clink noise came baq...

i called my service and a technician wanted me to stop by to the service... i went to the service and they checked if its a problem with the tranny.. and yes it was...

my car is only has 2k kms... and i'm really confused how easy the tranny blown away..? is that this easy? i left the car in the service and distrubitor technicians gonna send inspectors if its my fault or not.. gonna change it from warrany or not gonna get clear...

i wonder, is the tranny weakness in 2008+ lancers?

First I heard of a blown tranny at 2k kms. Mine has close to 50K kms on it and i have no issues with the drive train. Its possible it was just a bad tranny to begin with.

^^ I would have to agree. A freind has learned how to drive manual on his 09 lancer and he was HARD on the tranny for a while but no issues at all.

well guys,
i got the phone call from my local mitsubishi service and inspectors from distrubitor agreeded its fabrication fault... this means the tranny gonna change without any cost but the problem is again distributor doesnt have the new tranny in stock and gonna place an order to the head quarter meaning i have to wait at least 15 days... but it doesnt bother me, i run through a lot of stressfull moments with this issue... i just want to get my car baq working without any cost...

cheers
