I live in simi valley, it's just north of the valley off the 118.

Ya the headlights are deff worth it. They make the whole front end stand out sooo much more. It flows really well, and looks damn good! I dunno if you can use the stock bulbs, good question. Don't projectors use diffrent bulbs?

You could very well be right I have never actually looked at the inside of a projector lense but it does seem like there is less room in them, maybe if you get a chance you could check the type of bulb in there for me? Cause I will get the ones with HID in them if I cant use mine I LovE my hids there so flippin bright.

****!! i just got back from the fin stealership, and the guy was a retard! he only ordered me the part where just the key itself goes into! not the whole piece! he said the whole thing is called the ignition switch, and i should have known the name of it when i called. now the only way to get the old lock cylinder out is to take it to a locksmith and have the old one drilled out... for 300-500 dollars!! i am **** out of money already, this sucks. i can't even do anything with this part i got from the dealership now, and they wont accept a return on it and give me my money back because it was a special order and they had me pay up front. I have such a bad headache. And i am suppose to have in interview at 12 tomorrow for a new job and i have no way of getting there. Awesome.

03lances wanna hook me up with yours? i wish i would have never canceled getting it from you, this would have been fixed already!

Although you're strapped for money, take a cab and consider it an investment. It's a 20-30$ ride that could be worth a few thousands a year

Hello,

That sucks. How could it possibly be your responsibility to know the name of parts when the guy telling you that nonsense is the one employed at parts center and paid to know the name of parts. Doesn't make much sense but sounds like you handled it much better than I would have in same situation.

Out of curiosity, Can you not just go to a salvage yard or buy part from one of people on this forum parting out their cars and get the parts from them to use at least until you get the new part if thats really what you want?

Justin

I know thats what i said! They work there, there suppose to tell me what the **** is called! I could just go to a salvage yard most likely, but the closest one is down in LA, and i can't really get down to one to just go crusin around to look for a totaled lancer, and hope that is has the keys in it. if i pick one up locally, i would be afraid of someone around me having the keys to my car.

03lances is going to be shipping his out for me tomorow, so by saturday it should be running again. ill update then!

O **** thats why, I have a buddy that works at the post office, and he said they don't have any overnight shipping option available. There highest one is priority mail, and it guaranteed in 2 days. UPS and FedEx offer overnight shipping. Thats why he said its not guaranteed by saturday.

O well, not much can do bout it now! Thanks for tryin to get it to me as quick as possible!

YEEEEESSSSSSS!!! It works and is back up and running! I have missed it sooo much! love the deep toned growl the car has... love it love it!!

I just took it to jiffy lube to do the oil change cuz it was really low when i changed out the valve cover gasket, and they asked if the 60,000 mile maintenance had been done on the transmission. I said I believe so, i bought the car at 58,000 miles and the dealer told me they had done all all maintenance had been done. but i asked them to check the transmission fluid to see if its dirty, it was freakin green!! and smelled like ***! so i had it serviced, and the cute girl working there gave me 35 dollars off the price. Hell Ya!

Glad I could help man... Thats kinda funny about your tranny fluid color. When I bought my car and had to find a tranny for it, when I received it the color was the same when I dumped it out for new stuff lol.
