Idling at 2 grand...
When I start my car it 'sometimes' idles at 2 grand then will go down and then go back up and what not.. I'm worried does anybody have any ideas on what it could be?

dont worry its normal in the cold weather.. mine does the same thing every morning until it heats up a little then it idles at the normal 700 to 750 rpms....

It's a high warmup idle to get your coolant to normal operating temp.

Mine is doing the same thing... it runs at about 2K RPM for a few seconds, then drops back down to 1k or so. I figured it was normal...
