So I plug in the neon and what happens? Nothing. I push in the lighter and what happens? Nothing. Is it just a fuse?

 

why are u asking us? go check the fuse!

and even if it is or isnt the fuse, check if there are any connection problems

 

Well, the simple reason I'm asking is because I'm sitting behind a desk, where I'll be until 9pm. Also, I have the flu and feel like ****. If I get an answer while I'm sitting here, it saves me the time of ****ing around the fuse box (I'll probably sneeze in it and short out the car...). I'm tired, I'm sick, I'm lazy. Call it what you will.

but if u experience any electrical problems, the fuse is where u should go first. go try whenever u can! hope u feel better!

 

No problem. I figured it was a fuse, but I just thought I'd ask since I have nothing but time (damn job). DayQuil is keeping me alive at this point...

 

speaking of cig lighters, could somebody do me a favor (who still has theirs connected) and pull off that plastic panel and tell me which wires connect to the cig lighter? i got pissed off at mine and cut 'em since i don't use the cig lighter.......just want to make sure i know which they are in case i need to reconnect.

 

1 question blacksheep, have u ever taken off the center console thingy, i say that cuz the first time i did i forgot to reconnect my cig lighter and didnt realize it until i got the whole thing back together. if not then check fuses cuz u may have blown one, but i dont see why unless it was a bad fuse....

 

No, never taken anything apart. If it's not the fuse, I might check that out and make sure nothing was loose.

 

All color coded. Just match em back up and you're good to go.
