i think most people feel the same about stealership mechanics. the company i ordered the camshaft sensor from sent me a crankshaft sensor. im not to happy right now. im calling them today and demanding they send me the right part and have it here Monday or Tuesday. and as far as the fuel pump fuse.....i've checkd and heard my fuel pump working so i dont think that would be it. unless the fuse controls spark and fuel pump.

I'm having a similar problem. It would crank but nothing. I've checked for sparks. There is a spark on 1 and 4 cylinders. None on 2 and 3. Installed new ignition coil. Still no spark on those cylinders. I even switched the coils around and still no spark on 2,3.

Any clues? I have a 2002 Lancer OZ Rally

Have you recently unhooked your engine harness? If so, I'm willing to bet that you accidentally mixed up the connectors for the crank angle sensor and the coil pack for cylinders 2 & 3.

Anyways, sorry for the rant, but i hope the piece fixes your problem.
Im a mitsu mechanic , where not all idiots , likely the one you dealt with was on his way to being fired from taking to long on jobs so he was trying to boost sales ...Not a good thing and I dont do it...Also we arent allowed to just check out your car unless its being serviced its an insurance liability for mitsu if we get hurt and the job wasnt scheduled on mitsu property the dealer pays outta pocket to their insurance mitsu wont cover it ...

anyway we arent all douches but Ive met some winners at other places

As for the no spark its common for the cps to go bad from crud and go bad even if it looks new , the wire for it is to the firewall side pass side of the engine it plugs into the lower timing cover unplug it and plug it back in , check that 1st and make sure the connector clicks into place , if it doesnt its not making full contact , also if the sensor is bad/not seated the cel light will come on

Nope, I haven't done that yet. Recently I did put in new struts. Thats the only thing that I've done. The car was running fine until a few nights ago. Started it up; it cranked but not starting.

where would the harness be? It can also be a possibility it may have of came undone.

Follow the harness that has the fuel injector connectors and coil pack connectors toward the passenger side of the engine. The crank sensor connection is located down a bit on the rear of the timing cover.
