Exhaust help

Im fairly new here and searched and got nothing that is helpful. What are the main differences between the 02 and 03 OZ rally lancers? I was specifically wanting to know is the exhaust the exact same fitment? The complete exhaust.

From the exhast header all the way to the muffler. Im only asking because I have a $2000 price tag on my 03 oz just on exhaust. So im going around pricing for exhaust for my model locally and all i can find is the 02 models around here. And the $2000 tag is for new parts from dealer since the shop I went to can't find any used parts for my year. Or would it be wiser to just buy an aftermarker header/downpipe such as http://www.roadracemotorsports.com/s...roducts_id=557 and just buy a stock 2nd cat convertor?

I assume there is a difference between the two, but I wanted to check here just to make sure. Thanks to anyone that can post any help on the subject. And if anyone has just the front end of their exhaust lying around I would be willing to buy. This would include from the exhaust header/1st catalytic convertor/downpipe/2nd catalytic convertor. These peices are a beast to buy.

Ok so I pulled a PO420 code. That helps since i know its a problem with my 1st cat convertor. Even though its really my downpipe. The metal threading is practically just hanging on. How I did that I do not know. Hopefully i can undo the cel after i get a downpipe and reset everything.

if its refering to the 1st cat ie main/only catalytic converter then it might be fried but if its the dp then just replace it. dont know how it can be the dp unless it has a crack or somthin

i have my oem removed for a 2.5in catback the cat is still instralled for emmisions reasons and that 2nd thing ur refering to is a external resonator that sits just befor the muffler.. that was removed too... my muffler has a silencer that cuts the sound lvls down so i dont need the resonator..

I really dont think its the 1st cat. I know there is a whole somewhere in the downpipe. Thats a possible reason for the second cat to throw the code. But it is possible that it could be the 1st cat. From my understanding the po420 is a two part code. It has to be registered in the first cat and if the second cat registers it then the check engine light goes off. But there is a sound displacement in my exhaust. As if all the sound is coming from my feet and not the engine. I was just thinking if i replace the dp and the 2nd cat i should be good.
