Wheel Stud Replacement (Front Driver Side)

I have a quick question:

Do I have to remove the front hub assembly to take out the wheel studs? It doesn’t look like there is enough clearance to remove (hammer out) the stud.

I replaced one of the studs on the rear with no problems. One of the studs on my driver side has cross threaded. I chopped off the end of the stud and it works fine. I would just like to replace it so that I don’t encounter any problems in the future.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

By removing the front caliper and rotor you gain enough room to remove and install wheel studs on the front hubs. See the attached page from the Lancer FSM.
