When it hits a moderately low note (or lower), the front left speaker rattles. I am almost certain its blown out. What is the cheapest way of repairing this? I dont want a brand new set of speakers, its just beyond my budget now.

How can i get this fixed for the cheapest price possible?

Also i dont want to get a brand new nice aftermarket speaker and have it sound off balanced because i have 1 good speaker, and the rest are stock.

Look in the forsale threads someone selling a used speaker for a Lancer or Evo . Thats what i did when i blew one in the back so i ended up replacing the rear 2 that i bought on here off a Evo for $25 .

So does that mean Evo's have the same speakers as OZ Rally models? I'm guessing up to Evo IX, since X had that whole complete makeover.

But I mean c'mon... why are you still whoring out stock speakers? You can get better speakers at Walmart for about 10$ a set for crying out loud...

I personally like the Oem speakers over aftermarket ones i have put in there .

But thats because i have the SSL Evo Infinity speakers

 

There is no such thing as "decent" stock speakers in the base Lancer.
Not in 02-03 at least
