transmission issue

Hi guys

Having a problem with my 2009, GTS, CVT transmission. When coming to a stop sign I slow down (not stopping all the way) and coast then accelerate. Well when am coasting slow (less than 7-5 mph) the tranny makes a groaning noise, then when i accelerate it shudders kind of. should i take it ti dealership and try to get them to look at it? could bad tires do this? If you have any info it would help me out alot. also car has 20000 miles on it rolled over today!!!

Thanks in advanced

yea so the dealer ship finally worked me in for service this morning.
And i was not surprised to find out that and i quote "its your fault because your are not stopping at stop signs all the way, and that is confusing the transmission" well i am stopping and it happens anytime the car slows to around 5mph. another thing that is worrying is I thanked the person who looked at the car and i got a pissed off grunt. once i opened the door to my car i see the seat belt was attached (like how it is when your in the seat and buckled up), so i guess this guy just sat on top of it? This is a dealer that just recently purchased the Mitsubishi name, they sold Mazdas before. What do I do because i know for a fact the car never did this new.

Call corporate and explain your situation calmly.

Also, be sure to document the fact that you were there and what the dealer said (get them to sign off on it). That way, if the tranny dies or something serious does happen, they cannot claim that you ignored a problem.

They have to give you a copy. Get a copy and keep it for your records.

Still would be a good idea to call corp and at least let them know what is going on. Don't want to get the shaft down the line...
