Lights dim, battery leaks acid

I recently got a new battery while it was still on warranty cause the old one was leaking battery acid from positive terminal. Now shortly after i put the new one in it too leaks acid from positive terminal. I have sanded the paint from ground connections thinkin it was a bad ground still have a problem! As well as leaking acid the lights flicker and dim while driving at night. My radiator fans kick on repeatidley (on and off over and over) even when key is in ignition and turned two clicks (not running) even on the first start of the day. The owner before me may have had a sound system installed and took out when he sold it to me. Now I have a aftermarket CD deck and speakers no subs tho. I also can feel a lack of power when the lights flicker and dim, Like when your driving and you turn on the A/C. Any is very appreaciated! I cant go on like this for too much longer

Is there any left over wiring still installed from the old system? I might suggest pulling out your head unit and checking for loose or bare wires and also pulling up the trim under the doors and in the trunk looking for wiring or bad splice jobs the previous owner might have done.

Put a volt meter on it and make sure your alternator isn't producing something stupid like 16+ volts. Of course your car must be running to know this :P.

Also check for low voltages while running under 13volts
