Could be your t-stat sticking open?

low coolant level, old coolant
That's where I'd start.

What's the temperature like on the dash? Normal? Or is it lower than normal?
If it's lower than normal, then your t-stat is likely sticking as said above.

Good point,
If your temp guage is reading normal then it maybe something with your flap for heat.
Possibly a vacume leak or something.

LOL@ Vac leak

You might not even have it connected . Check to see if your heater hoses are going to the firewall . Just go behind the intake manifold and check to see if there is 2 hot hoses that go from the motor to the inside .

I usually recommend people to disconnect it when it gos out so it stops leaking until it starts getting cold to replace it because it is a very time consuming fix .

Vacume leak meaning if it is a vacume actuated "flap" for switching to the heat.
It may not be able to help but stay in "bypassing heater core" mode, if it had a vacume leak.

It does happen.

I'm unsure if the "flap" is cable or vacume actuated on our cars though.

But, for sure nothing to luagh at.

I'm having the same problem. Can someone post photos of where the hoses are so I know what I'm looking for? It's getting cooler up here in Toronto and I defintely do not want to be driving around with no heat...

I'm sort of in a same situation, except my ac works fine, and I bet my heat works....but the knob is broken so that even if i turn it over to heat, the gears slip on the side of the heater core thing under the dash. Diff problem you guys are having? Low coolant any of you?

Same issue here, heat does not come on at idle, only when driving. And only works at full RED setting, every other setting is cold. Engine warms up to half on the gauge like normal.

Might be a stupid question... how long did you have the heater on? It might take a few minutes to warm up from a cold start.

It just doesn't heat up, it never is this cold. the dial with the red/blue has to be full red or no heat. col...col...col...VERY HOT. That's it.
