My air control unit (ACU) lights wont come on when my headlights are turn on. So its impossible to see the knobs when its dark. Its the same for the lights in the cubby.
Is there a fuse i need to check?
I just installed a kenwood head unit and scosche dash kit but i didnt mess with any wires leading to the ACU. I lied, i spliced into the dash dimmer but the problem occurred before i did that.
Any leads would be great. or even a schematic or wiring diagram.

i have a 2009 lancer ES. its about as stock as they come, no bells no whistles.

 

I have wiring schematics. It is a fairly large file, and if you don't know how to correctly read them, then it will be of no use.

 

I troubleshoot with aircraft wiring schematics so I should be able to hold my own with this one. How can i get a hold of the file?
