I just took a look at the wheels, (it's cold out there) there's no ding's or dents on the wheels. I called and made an appointment for tomarrow at 10am. I'll keep you guys posted.

BALANCE!! You've more than likely thrown a weight.

Exclamation The whole car is shaking

I was driving home last night, and as soon as I got up to 50 miles an hour, the whole car started shaking.

It doesn't shake under 50 though. I thaught it could be my tire pressure, so I put some more air in this morning, but I still have that same problem.

Any thaught on this?

Didn't someone just ask this last week??? Could be wheel balance, alignment, tires on their way out, or warped rotors. I'd check in that order.

i always had that problem with the stock tires on the lancer, then i got new tires and had them balanced and everything and have had no problems since ** october 2003 **

But, definatly check the blanace of the tires first.

That's right, that's the one where the guy had a vague title (help asap) so I added words to the title. One of my pet peeves. I'll merge this with it and keep your title.

You might take a cue from Blaze. Ice and snow packed into your wheels, wheel wells, or suspension can give a nasty shake at highway speed. I live in Buffalo, and it happens to me pretty often this winter. I never notice until I'm up around 50 or more, and by then I can't do anything until I get to the next exit. Hopefull that's all you need- nothing beats a free fix.

It's been -20 celcius for the past week here, plus the windchill cause when driving... That's probably why.

Those of us lucky enough to know what "lake effect" snow is (like I bet they do in Cleveland) know that snow and slush require lots of kicking and frequent washes. Not to mention the road salt and resulting rust-- That part of our warranties is void up here... I dream of southern California.

sounds like you lost a wheel weight or possibly got a tire that is seperating (the inner threads coming apart)

if they put them on a balancer they will be able to tell
