I didn't say it. Please read the announcement in the how to/install forum. Moving.

Use a breaker bar.

Use PB Blaster over WD40 if you have it. Works better.

my stock muffler came off at just under 13,000 miles. it came off easily .. just a socket wrench.

I second what hobie said .. pb-blaster and then a breaker bar it should do the job You can always bang on it with a hammer to loosen the grip but the blaster should do it.

pb blaster and a lot of hitting it with a hammer to get the pb blaster worked in. then breaker bar, might be a ***** depending on your weather or like how many miles and stuff.

nope.. best way to do this is torch the living crap out of the bolts.. get them VERY hot, then use an impact or a breaker bar. But torching is the key. Not a cutting torch.. just a heating torch (propane or MAPP)

torch too much pain in the ***, the key is obviously leverage (breaker bar). It will take no time at all. Good luck bro.
