Long story short, an idiot kid hit me so I brought my car to the insurance's recommended repair shop. After dissassebly, repair, and assembly, the fog lights and stereo are not working.

The fog lights will not turn on regardless of condition, whether it be direct switched power to the relay input or with the stock relay installed. The cluster shows the fogs are switched on but they are not.

The stereo is not working. The head unit will remain on, but there is no sound. The fuse for the stereo in the engine bay will blow immediately. I'm hoping this is because the repair techs removed the door panel and possibly caused a short which can be fixed but will not be known until later today/tomorrow.

Anyone have the same problem or have any ideas on what the causes could be?

I agree. The problem needs to be fixed before you take the car.

 

fog lights are fine now. they blew the amp and replaced it.
