What I have Noticed :
- Engine cranks fine but doesnt turn over
- Dome light doesn't work / come on
- Power lock doesn't work when I press the lock/unlock button, works when i put the key in the on position and then press the lock/unlock button.
- What would cause no power to Fuses # 20, #21, #22 and #23?
- Original Keys factory alarm buttons no longer work
- Aftermarket alarm is arming and disarming but not actually shutting the locks

Thoughts:
- I have Checked the battery, and to be sure i bought a new battery to check it out
- If there is no power to some fuses, could this be a relay issue? and also if there is no power to certain parts of the car, then the alarm wouldn't work properly causing the engine to shut off.

Pictures attached are the fuse boxes. One in the engine compartment and the other under the drivers side.
I cannot find diagrams of anything to describe the relays and what they are used for. Owners manual only gives the diagram for fuses.


I am not a mechanic, and also the dealership where i live are very expensive and are not helping at all.

wow. Who installed the aftermarket alarm? I would go to them. Mitsu will say the same.

If the FAST system is no longer 'seeing' the chip it will not let the engine start. Are you seeing the key logo on your attempts to start it?

 

I found out what the problem was after taking it to the mitsubishi dealership. It was a blown relay and and 2 blown fuses. It wasn't sending signal to the fuel pump and it also cut off power to the alarm so that shut down because of the anti theft system. It didn't cost me anything luckily.

 

Yeah, I was about to ask if you were still under warranty, for having a car that's only 3 years old. But fortunately they were able to fix the problem!
