2003 Lancer ES Grinding only while driving, turning right
So this thread seemed to match my situation pretty well:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...ng-noise.html#
Except one thing they never mentioned was the presence (or absence) of a fairly solid vibration which occurs even at low speeds, and of course intensifies proportionately to speed, which makes me wonder if it is at all the same problem, and if by spending on another bearing it will fix the issue as it did for him.
I've replaced the CV axle, bearing, hub, and tie rod end, all on the right side. If I'd done my homework and been a bit more patient, perhaps I'd have seen the idea that problems which are apparently on the right are actually on the left side.
While this partially excites me, as it means I have yet some hope for fixing the problem, I'm worried, too, since the vibrations are occurring on the right side. I get the left/right flipping issue but does that still hold true if the vibrations and noise themselves are on the right side, and not the left?
I hope that makes sense. Thanks for any help at all!
