2008 Lancer ES

Hey guys -- got quite a strange issue I've never seen before. As you can see in the image below, my digital display / HUD / MPG screen (whatever it's called) seems to have some strange lines. I live in Utah, so it's quite cold. One morning I just started up my lancer and saw this. Over the next few days, the lines started moving up to the top. Really strange =O

Has anybody had this issue before?

Looks like the LCD cells have cracked under age/cold conditions. That sucks. Either live with it or get a new one, but it's probably not cheap.
