Central Locking Mystery
Hi All,
I have a right hand drive 2008 Mitsubishi Galant Fortis (aka Lancer GTS I believe) with a central locking issue. All doors centrally lock fine via the key fob, or manually, problem is they don't unlock with the key remote, I have to manually unlock the driver door with the key and unlock all other doors manually fro inside. As you know, the hazard lights blink when locking but no blinking or when trying to unlock. Just silence. At first it was intermittent but now it has stopped altogether. Strangely, if I try unlocking the doors with the fob, (which we know doesn't work), and I don't open any of the doors, the car still automatically locks itself back even though it's technically not unlocked (a security feature, you know what i mean). Thoughts? I considered the master actuator but they are quite expensive so would like to be as sure as possible before considering replacing, thanks in advance!
