I just helped someone put on a Kamikaze header over the weekend...theirs had NO fitment problems, but came with the same weak gasket, so we replaced it before install. It would be nice to have a thicker gasket between header and engine too....stock one is just thin metal. Only problem after install was the vibrating when in reverse...otherwise install was amazingly smooth, esp. after by install issues.....getting better guys!

 

Kamikaze had a open invite to see whats going on with the lancer header, they ha a couple people come down and kamikaze installed a out of the box header sitting on the shelf, and both cars fit. The header fit great with not even a touch of problem, no rattle, no hole problem, the downpipe has tons of room from anything. the problem lies in the hands of the mechanic or mits.
