powersteering

any one having a problem with there power steering?

just noises, nothing big but i have had the car for 5 months and just wonderin if anyone else has has a problem. I think that it is it kinda sound like breaks sweakingbut its not them when i cut the wheel all the way when i turn in to my driveway it sounds like i killed my cat lol.

Oh man...that was like pulling teeth!

Anyway, I've never had a problem. Have you modded the suspension at all in the way of springs, wheels, tires etc?

sorry i have been up since 3 so im a bit out of it,,, no i have not modified the suspension springs, wheels or tires.

Then take it to the dealership. That's what the warranty's for. Some people have had suspension problems but I don't remember what they were exactly. Try running a few searches and you may stumble upon something or checking through the troubleshooting forum for US Lancers. See what the dealership says though. No sense in stressing over fixing something if they can do it for you, right?

Maybe there is a problem with the axle. You said when you are turning it makes a squeaking sound? I had a problem like that before... turns out the axle grease was leaking (or so the repairshop says).
